After spending a long time trying many other disappointing note taking apps at assemblies over the years, I decided to write my own!I wanted to create something that is easy to use for me and my family that I could rely on, so with help I developed JW Smartnotes.
Record all your talk notes at our Jehovahs Witness assemblies and conventions and save them to review for years to come or as long as you keep the App installed.
Each of your new assembly notes will be automatically changed to 'Read Only' one month after you save them to your device to protect and safe guard them.
Each year all of the assembly talks will be updated as they are released by the society when they appear on JW.org. A new Menu option will appear in the 'Slide In' drawer menu on the left of the screen for each new service year.
We will be adding new features in the months ahead and we aim to include in App bible search as soon as possible. All software updates will be made as free upgrades to all of our App users.
We also hope to make this App available in other languages, probably beginning with Spanish and French, if we get enough positive feedback, requests and ratings for our new App.
If you have any comments, suggestions or feature requests please add them after using the App and please Rate us, it helps.
When I was working and thinking about this project I planned on making it available without charge, but sadly I was recently made redundant and I need to cover the costs of putting it on the various App stores.
I didn't realise that Google, Apple etc all charge for the developer accounts needed to keep the App available to all.
I've made it as inexpensive as possible and I hope that as fellow brothers and sisters, you understand the principle that 'a worker is worth his wages' and that I will be updating the talks every year from now along with continued on-going development of the App.
